Be Part of the Hundreds Coming to Builders Association/Ironworker Open House
A host of local students, construction professionals and politicians have committed to attending a region-wide construction community event next week. The Builders Association is partnering with our area's ironworker apprenticeship center for an open house on Nov. 16. Activities include touring, hands-on demonstrations and continuing education credits for the local professional construction community. Stations including welding, rebar tying, beam climbing, knot-tying, and mechanical advantage pulleys will be demonstrated. A beam from of the World Trade Center will also be on display. Attendees will get an update on the skills, productivity and expertise available from this crucial trade. For those of you in need of continuing education credits, a self-reporting module will be available.
