Builders & AIA Enjoy Cheeseburgers in Paradise! (and some networking, too)
David Mickey of ms consultants won a YSU autographed football
Austintown turned into a mini-Margaritaville Sept. 28th at Boak & Sonsí headquarters, thanks to Sam Boak and his staff, The Builders Association and AIA Eastern Ohio.
About 100 folks representing both organizations enjoyed a catered BBQ (including cheeseburgers, of course), live steel drum entertainment, margaritas and an atmosphere of beach living at the Changes in Latitudes and Changes in Attitudes Builders-AIA mixer.
One event attendee walked away with a $1000 prize. Jamie†Hart of VEC, Inc. rolled her way to a $1000 travel voucher for sinking a 20-foot putt on a tricky hole in the eventís putting contest. Many thanks to Connell, Inc. and DeSalvo Construction for sponsoring the travel voucher.
Cheeseburgers highlighted the buffet
Winning a Jim Tressel autographed book were Bob Donatelli of Donatelli Electric, Brian Battagila of L.Calvin Jones & Company, Keith Mason of Youngstown Tile & Terrazzo Company, and Jill Varley of Jack Duffy & Associates. David Mickey of ms consultants, inc. won a YSU football autographed by Jim Tressel and Bo Pelini. Many thanks to Boak & Sons for donating all of these door prizes.
The evening was full of fun, and good food and drink. It was another in a series of mixers the AIA Eastern Ohio and The Builders are hosting for its members.
