Builders Association’s Family Fun Day at Irons Mill Farmstead a Big Hit

About 225 members and guests enjoyed a sunny, warm fall day at the Irons Mill Farmstead on Saturday, Oct. 7 as part of The Builders’ Family Fun Day.

The New Wilmington, PA destination is a popular fall pilgrimage because of its many kid-friendly farm themed activities such as Corn Kernel Beach, the Bat Glide zip line, bouncing on giant air pillows, traversing the Corn Maze, having candy shot out of the fire truck cannon, and taking a hay ride to the pumpkin patch.

A very special thanks goes out to Mark (L. Calvin Jones) and Kim Zeidenstein for providing an outstanding surprise craft and treat station for the kids! The group also enjoyed a catered dinner of pulled pork, grilled chicken, macaroni and cheese, corn, salad and rolls.

The Builders’ Family Fun Day was a great opportunity for fellow members and their families to join in the revelry.  At the end of our outing, those in attendance were wowed by a dazzling fireworks display.

Here's a photo album of the event.

Thank you to all who made reservations and attended this fun event, making it our largest outing so far!
