Builders Association Holds Annual Golf Outing

The Builders Association held its Annual Golf Outing at Avalon @ Squaw Creek on August 22, 2011. The format was a scramble and was attended by 128 golfers. Pictured to the right is the low team of Jim Pitzer, Chuck Mallick, Jay Bruce and Justin Bruce. Second place went to the team of Bill Petro, Dale Gebhardt, Ken Kreidler and Jerry Velasquez. Third place went to the team of Greg Evans, Joe Pape, Bill Graed and Josh Pisarcich. The "most honest team" prize went to Michael Kapics, Frank Balog, Larry Lucci and David Lucci.

Closest to the pin prizes were won by Josh Pisarcich, Jeff Wallace, Pat Lenard and Dale Gebhardt. Closest to the pin on the second shot was won by the teams of Phil O'Hara, Nick Odille, Ron Hulett and Steve Sava and Diane Downey, Bob Bayus, Bruce Becherer and Walter Van Scooter. Closest to the pin on the third shot was won by the team of Bill Holland, Jeff Jardine, Stan Magielski, and Kevin Heater Longest Putts were won by Russ Ensley, Bill Casey, John Reed and Howard Agueda. Longest Drives were won by Ron Hulett, Josh Cohol and Vince Gatta. Shortest Drive and Straightest Drive were won by Bill Graed and Bob Daloise. Unfortunately, we did not have any winners of the $10,000.00 cash for the hole in one donated by Huntington Insurance.

Fifth Third Bank made donations that were used for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team prizes, as well as the Most Honest Team prize. The Builders Association also expresses its gratitude for donations by L. Calvin Jones & Co., J.P. Marsh & Co., The Bogdahn Group, Compensation Programs of Ohio, Yurchyk & Davis CPAs, Inc. and Bodine Perry, LLC, which were used for the skill prizes. CompManagement donated two Ohio State University suite tickets that were won in the raffle drawing by Dan Perry. Michelle Merlo Communications donated four Pittsburgh Pirates box seats that were won in the raffle by Laura Merrifield. Power Tool & Supply, Inc. donated a DeWalt Heavy Duty Worksite Radio/Charger that was won by Dennis Salmon. Avalon Golf and Country Club donated a complimentary round of golf for four at one of the Avalon golf courses, which was won by TC Dankovich. Carbis Walker donated a golf basket that was won by Mike McMahon.

Thanks, also, to First National Bank of PA and George L. Wilson Co., Inc. for donations that were used for door prizes. John Chito won a new set of Nike golf clubs including woods, irons and a bag. John and other prize winners are also pictured.
