Builders Association holds Annual Golf Outing

The Builders Association held its Annual Golf Outing at Avalon @ Squaw Creek on August 16, 2010. The format was a scramble and was attended by over 100 golfers. Pictured to the right is the low team of Brian King, Craig Abbott, Clarence Root and Dave Eyester. Second place went to the team of Rick Lokay, Bill Norris, Jim Carna and Jim Palanti. Third place went to the team of Dominic Gatta, Sam Gatta, Vince Gatta and Jason Altobelli. There were also two skins awarded on the day. The first skin went to the team of Jerry Harper, Scott McVey, Stanley Czeck and Pat Leonard. The second skin went to the team of Rich Lokay, Bill Norris, Jim Carna and Jim Palanti.

Closest to the Pin prizes were won by Bill Norris, Mike McMahon, Jim Deitsch and Dan Fry. Closest to the Pin on the second shot was won by the team of Howard Agueda, Jim Deitsch, Ron Wiltrout and Jim Novotny. Closest to the Pin on the third shot was won by the team of Don Ferko, Jeff Mason, Josh Cohol, and Jim Duncan. Longest Putts were won by Kevin Rourke, Ralph Binder, Sam Gatta and Bob Daloise. Longest Drives were won by Jason Altobelli and Harry Steele. Shortest Drive and Straightest Drive were won by Charlie Driscoll and Jim Klingensmith. Unfortunately, we did not have any winners of the $10,000.00 cash for the hole in one donated by Huntington Insurance.

The Builders Association expresses its gratitude for donations by L. Calvin Jones & Co., J.P. Marsh & Co., D.A. Hudson & Associates, Compensation Programs of Ohio and Bodine Perry, LLC that were used for the skill prizes. Fifth Third Bank donated prizes that were used for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team prizes as well as the Most Honest team prize. CompManagement donated 2 Ohio State box seat tickets that were won in the raffle drawing by Doug Wallace. Power Tool & Supply, Inc. donated a 170 piece tool set that was won in the raffle drawing by Jim Deitsch. Avalon Golf and Country Club donated a complimentary round of golf for four at one of the Avalon golf courses which was won in the raffle drawing by Jim Duncan. Thanks also goes to First National Bank of PA, Manning & Napier and Hill, Barth & King, LLC for donations that were used for door prizes.

Bob Daloise won a new set of Cobra golf clubs including woods, irons and a bag. Bob and other prize winners are also pictured.

Special thanks to the Golf Outing Committee of Harry Grafton, Jim Breese, Cliff Morgan and Howard Agueda for making the golf outing an enjoyable and eventful day.
