Builders Association names 2010 officers

The Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania has announced its slate of officers for 2010. The men were elected at The Builders’ annual meeting on December 2 for a one-year term.

Elected president is Harry Grafton. Mr. Grafton is a 23-year veteran of the regional construction community. He owns and operates Grafton Construction, Inc. of New Castle. The company specializes in commercial interiors, and services the Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania region. Mr. Grafton first studied at New Wilmington High school before moving on to Lawrence County Vo-Tech, where he graduated in 1976 with a specialization in carpentry. From there, he began his career in construction, learning a variety of skills and ultimately bringing that knowledge to the opening of his own company in 1986. Originally from New Bedford, PA, Mr. Grafton currently residents in Shenango with his wife, Debbie, and children Kiley, and Ryan.

Serving as 1st Vice President is Jim Breese, President of Jack Gibson Construction Company of Warren, Ohio.

2nd Vice President is Joe DeSalvo, Executive Vice President, DeSalvo Construction Company, Inc. of Howland, Ohio.

3rd Vice President is Ed Stevens, President, Stevens Masonry Construction Inc. of New Castle, PA.

Serving as Treasurer is Roger Kreps, Owner/President, Roger Kreps Drywall & Plastering, Inc. of Youngstown, Ohio.
