DeSalvo Construction Company Names New Vice President
A veteran area construction professional has joined DeSalvo Construction Company, Inc. (DCC). Mark J. Dodd, LEED AP-B, D&C is the new Vice President/Senior Project Manager for DCC, bringing nearly two decades of construction experience to the Youngstown/Warren, Ohio-based Company.
Dodd (pictured, at right) is a professional that started his career in the construction industry as a Union Carpenter. He worked his way through the apprentice program with the Carpenters to become Journeyman. He moved through the ranks as a project foreman and then became a Project Manager for Hammond Construction. Some projects that he served as project manager for include work at the Akron Zoo, University of Akron, and a half-dozen area School District renovation and new building projects. Mr. Dodd is also accredited by the United States Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional.
