Howard Agueda Joins The Builders as Association Services Director
The Builders Association announces the hiring of long-time regional construction veteran Howard Agueda as its new Director of Association Services.
Mr. Agueda’s duties include assisting employers in negotiating local union construction trade contracts, working with some of those same trades on their apprenticeship programs, serving as a Trustee on various craft insurance and pension plans, and working on member enrichment and educational opportunities.
“We are confident that Howard’s 30 years of experience with our region’s construction industry, combined with the reputation he’s earned, will translate into being a great asset for our organization,” said Kevin Reilly, Executive Vice President of The Builders.
Mr. Agueda is a lifelong resident of Trumbull County, Ohio, and holds associate degrees from Youngstown State University in Drafting and Design Technology and Civil Engineering Technology. He has worked in the northeast Ohio construction industry as an estimator and project manager, and was most recently subcontractor manager for Valley Electrical Consolidated, Inc. before joining The Builders.
“I am fortunate to have been involved with some amazing projects and work alongside some great people,” Mr. Agueda said. “Now, I have the opportunity to help promote the region for further success and economic growth.”
Mr. Agueda is a long-time member and past president of The Builders, and remains active on many committees for the organization. He is also a member and board member of the Warren Kiwanis Club. Howard, his wife, Lesley, and daughter, Jenna reside in Brookfield, Ohio.
