Roofers Joint Apprenticeship Program Now Accepting Applications

The Roofers Joint Apprenticeship Program will accept applications for a class of Roofers. The following is the progression of wages for Roofer Apprentices:

1st year Roofers Apprentice: $11.94 per hour + $2.87 in benefits
2nd year Roofers Apprentice: $14.32 per hour + $2.87 in benefits
3rd year Roofers Apprentice: $16.71 per hour + $12.27 in benefits
4th year Roofers Apprentice: $19.10 per hour + $14.41 in benefits
5th year Roofers Apprentice: $21.48 per hour + $15.54 in benefits 

Upon completion of the 5 year apprenticeship program, the current pay rate for Journeymen Roofers is $23.87 per hour with an additional $15.54 in benefits (i.e. Pension & Medical).

To be considered for this class, applications must be received no later than Friday, December 5, 2014.

Applicants must include the following items with their application:

  • Transcript of high school grades or GED test scores
  • Military Service Certificate of Completion (DD-214) (if applicable)
  • Photo ID
Basic Qualifications: 
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Physically capable of performing work of the trade
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen & physical
An aptitude test will be administered at the time the application is submitted.
