Livi Steel is a structural steel fabricator. We provide quotes to general contractors for supplying structural steel, joist, deck, misc. metals and erection (installation). Of the preceding we subcontract out the supply of the joist, deck, misc. metals and erection. The structural steel we fabricate can be described as the “skeleton” of the building which supports the design loads. The types of buildings we fabricate structural steel for include conventional steel structures such as small public service and institutional buildings (schools, etc.), shopping centers, light manufacturing plants, warehouses, sign structures, low rise and truss beam/column structures. We utilize structural steel shapes including wide flange beams, channels, angles, square tubes, pipe, flat plate and rod supplied by mills or warehouses to fabricate beams (horizontal members) and columns (vertical members). These horizontal members are connected to the vertical members by punching the columns with holes and by welding connection angles with holes to each end of the beams and joining with high strength bolts. Of the fabricated steel we supply it is 100% load bearing. In addition to the steel, we also utilize anchors, fasteners, paint, weld wire, weld rod, oxygen gas and propylene gas.
