Gary Hartman, Sheriff of Mercer County, has joined the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western PA as its new Association Services Director.

Mr. Hartman has been with the Mercer Sheriff’s office since 2003, starting as a part-time deputy and working his way up to being elected Sheriff in 2012. His work in budgeting, human resources, and contract negotiations is expected to transfer well for his role as Association Services Director.

“We believe Gary will be a great fit for our organization,” said Builders Executive Vice-President Kevin Reilly. “The skills he has developed as a highly competent law enforcement administrator gives him the strong leadership, business, and marketing skills to become an immediate asset to our membership.”
